Description of the visit
Our tour proposal, always flexible to any type of modification by the travel agent, is as follows:
The first stop will be Cambados*, the capital of Albariño. The town has one of the best preserved historic centers of Galicia, also declared of Cultural Interest. Highlights include the Plaza de Fefiñanes and the noble buildings that make up its heritage.
Afterwards, we will continue enjoying the panoramic view of the Ría de Arousa to the Lanzada Beach, natural entrance of the Ría de Pontevedra and impressive sandy beach with more than 2 km long. Awarded with blue flag and also has an interesting historical and natural heritage.
Later we will go to Combarro and stroll through its old town, declared of Cultural Interest. Its hórreos, cruceiros and sailor houses are one of the best representations of the popular architecture of Galicia.
Finally we will visit Pontevedra**, a city with a long maritime and mercantile tradition, and stroll through its historic center, one of the most important in Galicia, with important civil and religious buildings.
*Possibility of visiting the Pazo de Fefiñanes and tasting Alvariño or brandy.
**With the possibility of taking a catamaran trip to visit the bateas, wooden structures used for mollusk farming. On board we will also be able to taste mussels.
